Grace has extensive experience in the intellectual property space, spending over a decade of her career specialising in brand protection with a particular focus on Australian and multi-jurisdictional trade mark clearance and prosecution strategy and portfolio management. In addition to non-contentious trade mark work, Grace has acted on a range of contentious IP matters, including prosecuting and defending trade mark oppositions and removal actions, infringement claims and passing off and consumer law actions. Grace has acted for a diverse range of local and overseas clients in IP-driven sectors in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, research, FMCG, food and beverage, fashion, real estate and supply chain and logistics. Recently, Grace has moved in-house and leverages her expertise to advise and work closely with key decision makers to ensure their IP strategy aligns with the business's overall strategic plans. In this role, Grace assists with protecting company IP assets, portfolio management and risk mitigation.
