Weifeng is an IP Manager at CSIRO, Australian national science agency, and manages IP portfolios for Minerals Resources Research Unit, one of the largest minerals research and development groups in the world. Apart from day-to-day operation in IP prosecution and protection, Weifeng also sits on various IP Committees and advises on IP/technology transaction and commercialisation. With over 25 years of career in IP, Weifeng’s professional experience prior to CSIRO covers in-house practice as an IP counsel for multinational companies, patent attorney in an IP firm in China, and patent examiner, as well as training up new examiners in IP Australia. Weifeng is a qualified Chinese patent attorney and holds a masters IP degree in Australia, and he is a member of IPTA.
