Maximilian Gerstner is a senior licensing counsel at Siemens AG, focusing on patent licensing for Siemens Foundational Technologies and patent sales for Siemens AG. His intellectual property experience spans patent work in fields including power electronics, digital and additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digitalization, industrial cybersecurity, and automotive technologies. He has also advised Siemens businesses on patent strategy, freedom-to-operate matters, and patent portfolio management. Maximilian holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechatronics from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and is a European Patent Attorney and European Patent Litigator.
