Gustavo Hirsch is a partner at DANIEL, licensed to practice in Brazil and in Portugal, is a Solicitor in England & Wales and also a UPC Representative. He has broad international experience advising clients in the telecommunications sector with a focus on patent litigation. Currently based in London, Gustavo has worked at leading IP firms and served as a consultant at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro’s Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (Coppe/UFRJ). He is one of the world’s leading IP strategists in the renowned IAM Strategy 300 ranking. Gustavo brings insight into portfolio management and IP strategy, educating stakeholders in the SEP space on key legal issues, and navigating fragmented markets to secure complex deals. Gustavo holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, an MSc from the University of Oxford, and a Master’s in International Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
