Vashe Kanesarajah is managing director for Europe at Patlytics, an AI-native patent workflow platform, where he leads European operations and market expansion from London. With over 20 years at the intersection of AI, IP, and strategy, he most recently served as VP of Strategy at Clarivate, formerly part of Thomson Reuters, and sat on the executive leadership team for its IP division. There he led portfolio strategy, acquisitions, product, and thought leadership. His work has taken him across more than 30 countries in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, serving law firms, R&D-focused organisations, and government IP offices. He speaks regularly at industry forums on patent intelligence, IP management and strategy, and AI in patent practice. Vashe holds a master's degree in intellectual property and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, pairing strategic vision with deep legal and technical grounding.
