Dr Mick Lin is director of the intellectual property affairs division (IPAD) at Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), where he is responsible for the group’s intellectual property strategy, governance, and portfolio management. Before joining Hon Hai, he taught at a university. He subsequently joined the group as a research and development engineer before transitioning into intellectual property management, initially leading IP affairs for one of its business groups and later assuming responsibility for IP management across the Group. Drawing on his experience in academia, engineering, and intellectual property, Dr Lin is committed to transforming technological innovation into strategic IP assets and creating new value through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
