Dr Raymond Chen is a member of Leydig, Voit & Mayer and has 20 years of experience in intellectual property law. His practice spans from prosecution to litigation with a focus on patent disputes. He has represented clients in U.S. district court litigations, invalidity proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. Dr Chen has helped China-based clients successfully navigate many high-stakes IP disputes in the US, representing clients through the entire process including pre-suit negotiation all the way to trial and post-trial proceedings. His extensive litigation experience, combined with his Chinese background and his prior experience of working as in-house counsel in both China and the US, allows Dr Chen to develop effective strategies to achieve clients’ litigation goals.
