Lily Hu is part of the legal and compliance department of IP at Ant Group. Ms Hu holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University and an LLM degree from the University of Pennsylvania. With over a decade of experience as a patent attorney at a prominent Chinese law firm, Ms Hu has a solid foundation in intellectual property law. In 2021, she joined Ant Group as a senior IP counsel. Her job as an IP counsel includes creating and managing several patent portfolios in various technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain. She also serves as a legal adviser to the Open Source Committee, providing advice on using and releasing open source code.
