David (Bin) Wang joined Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in 2008 and currently serves as director of the intellectual property litigation department. He holds a juris master (J.M.) degree from Peking University. His previous roles at the company include director of the Asia-Pacific IP department, litigation attorney and patent engineer. With extensive hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of corporate IP and deep industry insight, David is primarily responsible for the company's IP licensing and dispute resolution matters. He has led and played a pivotal role in major domestic and international IP licensing and litigation cases involving companies such as InterDigital, Conversant, Samsung and MediaTek. During his tenure as director of the Asia-Pacific IP department, he led the establishment of the Asia-Pacific IP management framework, overseeing the full spectrum of IP operations across the region - including portfolio development, management, licensing, litigation, collaboration, and commercialisation.
