Jun Qiu joined Liu, Shen & Associates in 2005 and obtained the licenses as a patent attorney in 2008 and attorney at law in 20212. Before joining Liu, Shen & Associates, he studied and worked at University of Michigan, USA for 5 years. His current practice mainly focuses on IP litigation including patent infringement litigation, trade secret litigation, invalidation and dispute resolution and contentious IP strategy work, in particular cases involving foreign entities and complex technology. Mr Qiu also provides a variety of IP legal services including IP related contracts, patent license, IP due diligence, software license and data compliance etc. Mr Qiu specialized in the technical areas of semiconductor processing the devices including memory technology, optical engineering including microlithography, virtual reality technology and display technology, material engineering, medical devices and mechanical engineering. Mr Qiu also provided localised services such as patent training and patent mining for research and development project in China, and presented a wide range of IP related topics in domestic and international programs and conferences.
