Dr. Robin Stitzing is head of economics at Nokia Technology Standards, the chief economist for the Nokia unit responsible for developing and monetizing Nokia's industry-leading patent portfolio. Robin provides in-house economic analysis and strategic advice at the intersection of patent licensing, litigation, policy, and business development - all with a twist of FRAND. His work has shaped the growth and evolution of Nokia's world-class licensing business and has ensured its continued success in landmark global SEP litigation. Robin has previous experience as economic consultant at Compass Lexecon where he worked on competition policy, intellectual property rights, and pricing cases. He has a PhD in economics from Aalto University, Finland and is based in Espoo, Finland.
