Wayne Helge is a registered patent attorney and represents clients in all aspects of patent law. He has prosecuted patent applications involving a variety of electrical and computer-related inventions and currently focuses his practice on contested disputes involving patent validity. Mr. Helge has represented parties in over two hundred post-grant review proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, where his success rate is significantly higher than the national average. He also litigates patent infringement cases in federal courts and handles appeals from both district courts and patent office proceedings. Mr. Helge has a master’s degree in civil engineering and is a registered professional engineer. He has handled patent matters involving a variety of technologies including automotive controller area networks (CAN), computer-based threat modeling, power distribution systems, online gaming and virtual reality software, imaging software, fiber-optic communications and modulation, semiconductors, video encoding, flat panel displays, telecommunications devices and standards, and computer memory.
