Paul Margolis is currently the Deputy Chief Commercial Counsel at Aptiv and is responsible for technology transactions, software licensing and intellectual property litigation for Aptiv. In that role, Mr Margolis regularly negotiates license agreements with automotive OEMs, suppliers, and standards-related licensing entities. Mr Margolis has been an in-house attorney in the auto industry, focusing on these issues, since moving to Michigan seven years ago. Before moving to Michigan, Mr Margolis was a partner in the patent litigation and counselling group of Jenner & Block LLP where he litigated and tried patent, trademark, and trade secret matters across a wide variety of industries including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemical and material processing, software, and manufacturing.
