Dr. Mohammed Hussain Abdul Jabbar is a principal scientist at Nissan with over 15 years of experience in advanced energy conversion and storage systems. He has led multiple DOE funded projects, secured more than 30 patents, and authored 55 peer reviewed publications. At Nissan Technical Center North America, he has contributed to R&D efforts that enabled a full solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) system demonstration at the Tochigi plant in Japan. He has driven over five Nissan innovation themes, established collaborations with more than ten universities, and supported three NSF funded and two Canadian funded research programs. His technology licensing achievements include securing a national lab fuel cell IP portfolio for Nissan, and he continues to advance efforts to license out Nissan’s patent technologies.
