Kevin has nearly 20 years of experience in USPTO post-grant proceedings and leads Dentons’ post-grant team. He has handled hundreds of proceedings, including reexams, interferences, reissues, IPRs, and PGRs, and advises clients on patent prosecution, litigation, and transactions. Drawing on his technical background, Kevin counsels companies on portfolio management, technical analysis, and strategy across areas such as computer architecture, software, networks, semiconductors, and microelectronics. His broad patent experience informs guidance from application through enforcement or defense. Recognized as a leading patent professional by IAM since 2015, Kevin is active in IPO and ABA-IPL committees and has helped influence USPTO policy. Kevin is a computer engineer with in-house experience and work as a senior component design engineer at a leading semiconductor manufacturer. He frequently writes and lectures on patent law, including at Georgetown University.
