With over 25 years of experience spanning patent prosecution, licensing and litigation, Mr McKinney is a thought leader and trusted business and legal advisor on HP’s technology ventures. Following a decade in private practice, Mr McKinney joined HP’s patent development team to drive patent portfolio strategy for a number of HP businesses. Currently, Mr McKinney manages a team of IP professionals, advising HP on IP matters across a variety of technologies. Mr McKinney’s practice focuses on SEP licensing and extends to development agreements with HP’s industry partners, M&A due diligence, and litigation.
