Sean Ke has a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and a masters in law, and has worked in a variety of IP positions in several reputable multinational companies including Foxconn, ZTE, NXP, Visionox and Alibaba. Sean has around 23 years’ experience in IP domains, including, but not limited to, IP prosecution and portfolio management, IP analysis and risk control, commercial IP and transaction, brand protection, trade secret management and other IP related matters. Currently Sean works for Alibaba Group as patent legal director which is expected to create IP value in a way to contribute to a huge business ecosystem. Sean is also the chairman of several domestic IP alliances in China. As chief editor, Sean published The Way of IP I & II – bestseller IP books which have been widely recognised by IP circles in China.
