Lyric Dubey is a seasoned IP professional with expertise in patent strategy, portfolio development, and patent licensing, with a strong focus on Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) in telecommunications and digital technologies. He has played a key role in building and leveraging high-quality patent portfolios to support business growth and commercialization. He is known for developing effective approaches to SEP creation, licensing, and enforcement. Lyric was recognized as an IAM Strategy 300 – World’s Leading IP Professional (2025) and is an active member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) International and LES India. He regularly shares insights on IP strategy and licensing at leading industry forums, including IPBC and The Grand Masters. Currently, he serves as Manager – Intellectual Property at Jio Platforms Limited, where he is responsible for portfolio development covering 5G, 6G, and AI/ML, with a focus on SEP development, licensing initiatives, and strengthening internal IP ecosystems.
