Lyric Dubey is a seasoned IP professional with expertise in patent strategy, portfolio development, and patent licensing, with a strong focus on Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) in telecommunications, digital and AI/ML technologies. He has played a key role in building and leveraging high-quality patent portfolios to support business growth and commercialization. He is known for developing effective approaches to SEP creation, licensing, and enforcement. Lyric was recognized as an IAM Strategy 300 – World’s Leading IP Professional (2025) and is an active member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) International and LES India. He actively shares insights on IP strategy and licensing at leading industry forums, including IPBC, IAM Live events and The Grand Masters. Currently, he serves as Manager – Intellectual Property at Jio Platforms Limited, where he is responsible for patent strategy, portfolio development covering 5G, 6G, and AI/ML technologies, licensing frameworks, and strengthening internal IP ecosystems. Previously, he held key IP roles at Rakuten Mobile and Sterlite Technologies.
