Hyonjong Kim is a manager in the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) team at SK Telecom, with over a decade of experience in IP prosecution and litigation. Since joining SK Telecom in 2015, he has focused extensively on SEPs and AI, leading numerous patent prosecutions to strengthen the company’s IP portfolio in these strategic areas. His work involves developing IP strategies that support SEP-based licensing opportunities and executing IP monetization based on the strategies. Mr. Kim is a licensed Korean patent attorney and a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association (KPAA). Prior to joining SK Telecom, he began his career at Yoon & Yang IP LLC in 2010, gaining significant experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
