Donald Chan is the director of FRAND & royalties and the 5G multimode program manager at Sisvel. Since joining Sisvel in 2014, he has played a key role across the full spectrum of standard essential patent licensing, including portfolio mining, patent pool development, licensing negotiations, and litigation support. Before joining Sisvel, Donald worked at a patent firm representing universities and research institutes in patent prosecution, providing him with a strong foundation in both technical and legal aspects of intellectual property. He holds master’s degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in Intellectual Property Law.
