Sachie Nagamine is the manager of global standards and policy section within IP Department for standardized technologies attached to R&D division. She is responsible for bilateral licensing negotiation, patent pools, global litigations and policy matters relating to standardization, standard essential patents and FRAND. Sachie initially joined Panasonic as an engineer with focus on developing of mobile phones. After working for several years as an engineer, she requested a transfer to the Intellectual Property department of Panasonic to expand her horizon. She is a registered patent attorney of Japan.
