Judge Tözsér has specialized in patent law since 2023. She previously worked as a judge for general civil matters and criminal matters, including economic crimes and tax related crimes. She also has experience as a public prosecutor. The Munich I Regional Court handles the highest volume of patent infringement actions in the western world, namely 330 cases in 2025. Half of these cases address SEP and FRAND matters. Prior to joining the judiciary, Judge Tözsér worked as a lawyer at a Munich-based law firm handling patent law cases. Judge Tözsér has studied in Tübingen, Yokohama and Sydney and has participated in internships with the German Consulate General in Los Angeles, the United Nations in New York, the German Chamber of Commerce in Montevideo and a law firm in Shanghai. She is fluent in Hungarian, German, English and Italian and also speaks French, Spanish and Japanese.
