Octavio Guerrero Martínez is the IP manager at Grupo AlEn, a multinational company in the cleaning and household products sector. With over fifteen years of experience in intellectual property, Mr Guerrero Martínez is responsible for the worldwide IP strategy, covering trade marks, patents, copyright, trade secrets and enforcement, ensuring alignment with corporate innovation and business objectives. Prior to joining Grupo AlEn in 2012, Mr Guerrero Martínez served as senior specialist in industrial property at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), where he gained substantial regulatory and enforcement expertise. He holds a master’s degree in intellectual property from the Escuela Iberoamericana (Granada, 2023) and a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (2006).
