Maria Isabel Giacchetti de Moraes is head of Latin America patents at Sanofi. She graduated in Law from Mackenzie University and holds a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure Law from the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC). She has been a guest lecturer for the MBA in Health Innovation at the Butantan Institute. She worked for years in corporate law firms and is currently responsible for the patent area in Latin America for a multinational pharmaceutical company, where she has worked for over 15 years. She mentors young professionals both inside and outside the company and is a board member at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC). Interested in governance in innovation and involved with ESG initiatives, she has been an integral part of the Pillar Generation+ in recent years.
