Rafael Mendes is senior legal manager at Mercedes-Benz Caminhões e Ônibus in Latin America. With more than 23 years of experience in global companies such as Harley-Davidson, Total Energies, CBMM, Nissan and Fiat-Stellantis, he has extensive experience in the creation and management of legal departments, the implementation of KPIs, and the application of artificial intelligence to legal practice. His career includes significant experience in compliance and corporate risk management programmes. He holds a law degree from FUMEC University (MG), a specialisation in Risk Management, Compliance and Auditing from PUC Campinas, and a master's degree in Business Law from FGV São Paulo.
