Felipe Oquendo is a partner at Licks Attorneys, based in Rio de Janeiro. He focuses on intellectual property litigation and enforcement, with particular experience in patent disputes involving information and communication technologies (ICT), standard-essential patents (SEPs), life sciences and mechanical engineering. He regularly advises multinational and domestic clients on complex disputes involving patents, trademarks, industrial designs, plant varieties and unfair competition, developing litigation strategies that address both legal and commercial objectives in Brazil. Mr Oquendo holds LLM degrees in Intellectual Property Law and Corporate, Labor and Industrial Property Law, and is actively involved with leading organisations including ABPI and LIDC.
