Dr. Elisabeth Greiner is a partner at df-mp. She is a German & European patent attorney as well as a UPC representative. A core focus of her practice lies in EPO opposition proceedings, and validity and infringement proceedings before the German Courts and the Unified Patent Court. She is recognized as a highly regarded specialist in complex patent disputes in the fields of pharmaceuticals.
Drawing on many years of experience in contentious proceedings, Dr. Greiner also supports clients in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the life sciences area and chemistry. Dr. Greiner also has substantial expertise in advising on SPCs and coordinating the prosecution of corresponding applications throughout Europe.
Dr. Greiner’s professional work is regularly recognized by leading international rankings including IAM, JUVE and IP Stars. Her work on the recent UPC dispute “Sanofi v. Generics” has been awarded the MIP "Europe Impact Case of the Year 2026”.
