Bei Wang is the patent licensing director in the Strategic Cooperation Department of Xiaomi Group. She is responsible for the full lifecycle management of patent licensing projects, including portfolio evaluation and licensing negotiation. Ms Wang has over ten years of experience in patent licensing, has participated in licensing negotiations with leading SEP licensors, and has successfully led multiple patent licensing agreements between Xiaomi and patent holders worldwide. Ms Wang began her career in 2007 as a patent attorney, where she built a strong foundation in patent prosecution. In 2012, Ms Wang joined Zhigu, one of China’s early patent operation companies, as a patent engineer, focusing on patent generation and valuation. Following Zhigu’s acquisition by Xiaomi in 2016, Ms Wang joined Xiaomi and has since been deeply engaged in patent licensing activities.
