Gabriel Egidio Iriarte is corporate legal manager at Alpargatas, the Brazilian company behind the Havaianas brand. In this role, Mr. Iriarte oversees a legal portfolio spanning corporate, contractual, and litigation matters, with emphasis on intellectual property, brand protection, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. He joined Alpargatas in 2022 through its Global Trainee Program and advanced to Senior Lawyer before assuming his leadership position. Mr. Iriarte was invited to serve on the Global Advisory Council – Latin America and the Caribbean of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2026–2027 term, contributing to global intellectual-property priorities. He earned his law degree from the University of São Paulo and completed a postgraduate specialization in Intellectual Property, Entertainment, Media, and Fashion Law at the Escola Superior de Advocacia da OAB SP (ESA OAB SP). Based in São Paulo, he is recognized for rigorous legal analysis and for advancing brand protection as a driver of innovation.
